We put them in rest homes, we kinda kick them under the rug and make believe they don't exist. They [the people in Vienna] don't feel like that. In a lot of these older places in the world, they value their older people and their older people feel they can still be a part of the community and I thought: This is a terrific idea - that old people are useful -and that means I don't have to worry so much about getting old because I can still have a use in this world in my old age. I thought "Vienna waits for you..."

Slovakia For the Day, No Big Deal.

Bratislava, Slovakia is only a couple hours away from Vienna by train, so a bunch of us went on a day trip. :)

When we got to Bratislava, it was fun just exploring. We didn't even have a map so we jumped on a train and hoped it would get us to the city center and it did! :) We went up to the castle where the view was gorgeous as well. It was a bit foggy but that made it pretty! We also went to a place called Devin's Castle where a castle was literally carved out of the rocks on a mountain in 500 BC. There were pretty leaves up there so we played in em. :)
